Slaughterville's Community Recycling Event
Slaughterville’s annual recycling event is held on a Saturday each Spring. During this event citizens can drop off items such as used motor oil, oil filters, antifreeze, car batteries, tires (off the rims), scrap metal in any form including old washers, dryers, refrigerators, bicycles, hot water tanks, etc.
No trash will be accepted during the event. Trash can be disposed of at the Transfer Station located at:

Trash can also be disposed of through your local garbage service
Household Hazardous Waste
Slaughterville residents who need to dispose of household hazardous waste should contact the town hall at 405-872-3000 to receive a letter of authorization to use the Household Hazardous Disposal Facility and to make payment arrangements.
Electronic Items
Electronic items can be recycled at Best Buy stores.
Automotive Products
Many automotive stores will recycle motor oil, filters and batteries. Check with your local automotive stores details.
